Norman E. Borlaug was the man who influenced a lot to agriculture production world over and inspiration to every scientist involved in Agriculture. Great men do great things. We lost a great man; a true hero. He was a renowned wheat scientist and a nobel laurate. He specially worked to establish World Food Prize in 1986, which is considered "Nobel Prize" of food and agriculture.
We can not think of a greater tribute to Norman than to carry on the work to which he dedicated his whole life: applying agricultural science for humanitarian benefits. Thus, he lives in our hearts and, through our efforts, the work he began will also live.
